Won by Double Digits After Being Outspent 6-to-1

Our targeted, persuasive communications mobilized infrequent voters and helped County Treasurer John Ewing Jr. become the first Black mayor in Omaha’s history in 2025, toppling Omaha’s incumbent Republican mayor — who had won re-election 64%–34% in 2021.  Ewing was outspent 6-to-1, but won by double-digits.
